Livio Suppo Steps Down as Repsol Honda MotoGP Team Principal

A day after Marc Marquez won the 2017 MotoGP championship to offer Honda Racing Company the triple crown of rider, staff and producer titles, Repsol Honda Workforce Principal Livio Suppo introduced he’s stepping right down to pursue new alternatives.

Suppo, fifty three, joined the HRC as advertising director in 2010, including the position of communications director in 2011. In 2013, Suppo was named staff principal, overseeing the workforce every racing weekend, working with riders Marquez and Dani Pedrosa.

Earlier than becoming a member of HRC, Suppo was venture chief for Ducati‘s MotoGP staff from 2003-2009, working with riders Loris Capirossi, Troy Bayliss, Carlos Checa, Sete Gibernau, Casey Stoner, Marco Melandri and Nicky Hayden.
