Default Motorcyclist struck in Oakland Park in ICU
Motorcyclist struck, injured in Oakland Park -- South Florida Sun-Sentinel.com



FYI: The bike is a 2007 Blue R1 belonging to my son's friend Dominic's dad. They called him ZIPPY. He went on one ride with us about 2 months ago when we went on a South meets North Port Mayaca ride. He is in ICU with colappsed lungs and one arm barely hanging on. His son is on his way to the hopsital now, will update when I have more info. Apparently he was on his way to work when an elderly women cut into his lane, hit him, and caused him to hit another vehicle.

Our prayers are certainly with him and his family.

Zippy went for emergency surgery yesterday to try and save his arm. Don't know the outcome yet. Thanks for all your prayers.
