Default Two Bike wrecks in Boynton. One Fatality

BOYNTON BEACH — A motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital tonight after being struck by a car.
The crash occurred around 6 p.m. in the 500 block of West Gateway Boulevard near the Interstate 95 exit. The motorcyclist, who was not identified, was taken to Delray Medical Center.

Police asked motorists to avoid the Gateway Boulevard entrance and exit ramps while the crash is investigated. Eastbound Gateway Boulevard is shut down at High Ridge Road.

BOYNTON BEACH — A motorcyclist was killed in a crash tonight that has shut down the southbound lanes of Congress Avenue.
The crash occurred around 9:30 p.m. just north of Woolbright Avenue, according to a police report. The southbound lanes of Congress will be closed north of Woolbright for several hours as police investigate the crash, according to the report.

One at 6pm and one at 9:30pm. Boynton is not a good area to ride bikes in i suppose

Aww F*ck! I was near there last night and hand to turn onto boynton beach blvd cause they had the whole road closed and was wondering what happened. RIP to him.

South Florida Sun Sentinel10:04 PM EDT, May 6, 2009 BOYNTON BEACH - The southbound lanes of Congress Avenue just north of Woolbright Road will be closed for several hours as police investigate a traffic fatality, police said tonight.

Around 9:30 p.m., a motorcyclist collided with a tow truck, police spokeswoman Stephanie Slater said. The motorcyclist died at the scene.

Police said no names or any other information would be released tonight.

I thought about this post last night when I read your thread. Jeff was telling me last night after I showed him your thread that your friend was a really nice guy. The night he met up with you guys and I stayed home, the first thing he told me about when he got home was about the superman bike and that maybe I'll get to see it the next time I go up there.

Yea and all for reasons not controlled by the bikers themselves. He did have the bike setup nicely though wish you would've seen it.
