Default Full Carbon Fiber Yoshi RS-5 on 2005 Honda CBR 600RR Review

Well, I switched my exhaust from Stainless Steel slip-on to full carbon fiber Yoshi exhaust. Now...it seems almost like the same power however distibuted much better. It seems a little bit slower till you get to about 6.5 or 7k....than the shit just starts getting fast. It feels ALOT smoother when getting into the higher revs. The deal I got was well worth it, but if someone is looking to spend any more than $600...forget about it. Settle for the slip-on. Got the bike dyno'd last night and will be posting up the video later. The torque on the graph was all spikey..not consistant and the hp dropped quite a bit in some spots. Hopefully the PCIII will be able to fix these slight issues. Oh yeah...the sound, it's just the same as the slip-on but alot louder.

the PC with a proper map for your bike will smooth out the graph ALOT!

Yeah I agree, when I got my bike mapped there wasn't a big HP gain but the power delivery was smooth and consistent. I think the HP gain was 3HP like I said nothing much, but having a smooth throttle response made the bike perform much better at all RPM levels. And in my opinion worth the money.

I've heard many conflicting stories about that dyno. There's alot of variables that go into getting your bike properly dyno'd. Airflow, humidity etc... From what I've heard, they don't use any airflow with a bike that they dyno. Try checking a few shops and see how they run their dynos and ask questions before you spend your money with a specific one.
