Default Time to ride... gimme some ideas... here

Aight kids it has been a while and that is mainly due to my FLNY family keeping me exceedingly busy and mobile but i miss my big ass all day sunday rides soooooo.....

here is where my mind is, i wanna do an aggressive like 400 or 500 mile ride.. i am thinking we could make our way up or around the bottom of otown or kissimee. around sebring or even over towards tittyville who knows.. all i know is i wanna ride.

here are a few details i have to point out.

1) the rides of old where we would blaze at top speed everywhere is coming to a close. between local county mounties, FHP and the use of planes and other aircraft we are a nice target. this doesnt mean we wont hit the middle of nowhere roads and not light it up but it does mean that we will be a little more cautious about the main artery highway riding.

2) this ride will include my bro's and sis's from FLNY possibly from other chapters meeting up with us as well so it will really bring a new element of fun.. well i think it will. this is not a recruiting ride it is just a regular ride with the addition of organization.

3) and this one is most important I want to make sure to institute the no rider behind clause in sofla group riding as well as the FLNY riding (FLNY makes sure that no one is left behind dont really worry.

ok now that i have that out of the way here is my proposal and no i havent mapped it out yet just proposing routes..

95 north to indiantown for breakfast then north to okeechobee west to sebring then 27 down to 80 back across to 95 or the turnpike..
this ride we can go north on some back roads and we can stop in clewiston for lunch..

or

27 north to clewiston inn for breakfast then up to labelle to n river for some twisty action then over to 31 up to some roads i was introduced to by poppanodoze and then 70 back across to say 95 or the pike home

or

27 south to chrome across to the casino for breakfast then the trail to 29 up to immokolee to a few mid section roads or n river to 31 uturn back up n river to labelle 80 over to clewiston lunch at the tiki bar then 80 or 27 home..

or

27 south to chrome across to the casino for breakfast then the trail to naples then north up 75 to ft myers or further. then maybe 70 or evn 60 if we're high enough up across to catch either tp or 95 home..

these are fairly aggressive routes that have possibilities.. we just have to set a course and roll on it.. i want to do a nice ride and i have a feeling there are a shit ton of people who have been waiting for me to get off my ass and make a route and set a date..

i want to do this sometime in october.. i am getting with my prez to make sure i dont coincide with an event..

let the debate commence ps if your a fuckin short distance rider and want to cut your teeth on a nice long ride this is it but i am not going to post up short exit routes.. i will post a route yall can figure out where you can jump off.

also pussies who think long rides are nuts STFU and dont post here i personally dont want to fuckin hear it..

Sounds good, Keeb. I know of some roads that are not heavily traveled that would make a nice ride around the center of the sofla area. A good ride out there can last from 4 hours to all day. That's why I usually ride alone, most of these kids can't hang that long.
We'll talk...

ok i talked to my boys and it should be after biketoberfest.. altho i would like to do it the second weekend in october..

lets say tentatively the 11th or the 25th

the big thing is this ride has to start early like stands up at like 8 am promptly this route will be long and require an early start to really get on the road properly..
