well, first off.. I had the worst scare of my life heading to cafe27.. I am on Krome heading to 27th from 8th ST, going at a spirited pace.. I have a car behind me also going fairly fast.. I look down the two lane road (1 up 1 down) and I see a truck pulling a boat, suddenly about 300 yards ahead, the guy behind him pulls into my lane coming head on to me.. I look at the side of the road (gravel & grass) if I try to brake and turn off I will get rear ended or wipe out hard... the truck is still heading right at me, and both oncoming vehicles are even with each other.. seems as if the guy with the boat did not want to get passed.. I had a spilt second to decide my fate, so I split between the two oncoming fast speeding trucks, I must have had 6 inches of cushion between both vehicles I split... as I passed I glanced at my rear view mirrors and saw the truck that almost killed me swerve into the truck/boat lane just barely missing the oncoming car in my lane. This all happened in 15 seconds total.. the PUCKER FACTOR was huge.. I was shaking all the way to cafe 27.. but I was alive..

got home safe and gave an extra long hug and kiss to my wife and kids..

after the scare, I composed myself and rode to the meet point at Cafe 27. Alan got a new GoPro HD camera for his moto.. we are still learning it, but we did do some video testing that day...


met up with Phantom and a new guy named Harold and we headed to Billie Swamp Safari...

walked around and checked out the wildlife they have on display..








we had some Bfast and then back to Snake Road.. it is officially LOVE BUG season, so we wont be doing that ride for a long while.. they were ALL OVER US..

Alan had to go back to work so we split up and rode back down to Tony's house where he graciously hosed and wiped down our bikes.. and then Tony came over and helped me with my house alarm.. Thanks allot Tony.. hope you enjoy the lobsters!!!!
