Default Dianese Zentex jacket review

So, I'm bored so I will write a review. I do this from time to time as some may remember from "the other place" on parts and stuff.

Hot muggy Florida; a nasty place to wear leather or even textile while riding. Being the born again newbie with my cute little 600 now, I had to get new gear. I have a Joe Rocket mesh jacket with armor which is GREAT. But, sometimes you want a little more protection but without heat exhaustion.

I found the Dianese Zentex jacket at Cycle Gear and I am in absolute love. The jacket is lightweight and comfortable. It has 5 different textiles in the jacket so there are a few different degrees of protection which apparently after a little reading, the abrasion resistence these different types have is great. The flow in a natural riding position tosses air up the sleeves in a 3 layered mesh pocket and that cool air circulates through your core. The armor in the shoulders is great and in the elbows extends from the elbow down towards the wrists overing a larger area of impact protection. PLUS...It has the Dianese name on it...So it has to be good right?!?!

Pros: Awesome fit. Great ventilation. Confident protection. Nice price at around $270.

Cons: Back protection is OPTIONAL . Size makes me feel like a fat bastard: Size Euro 58. No inner chest pocket for wallet or other crap.

AWESOME jacket and I can definitely see that this will be a great addition for this summer and the nasty air we get to cut through.

Kris

I've actually got an app in to do reviews on tech crap. I am waiting to hear from them.

Doc, you will love the jacket. It's really lightweight and compared to my Joe Rocket mesh, I feel safer in this. Just got the Dainese Wave G2 back protector. Hardcore stuff there! I like it!
