That's a GANGSTER bike! I was trying to find one before I bought my Kawi. Harley dealers and some owners will say "A Sportster is a chicks bike" or "An 883 doesn't have enough power". Well, WTF do you need a ton of power for on a H-D anyway? As far as a chicks bike...BLAH!
The Iron to me is just plain dark moto. The only changes that scoot needs in my opinion, if I were to purchase one at the bargain price of $7999, would black shorty pipes, a Frisco tank lift, and invert the bars for that old school rat bike look.
I sat on one and I LOVED IT! It is low to the ground, I am sure would be more fun than a larger Dyna or Softail to scream around on, and it is just sick dark! I actually love it. The Sasquatches of motorcycling may find it hard on the knees with the mid-controls but with a Frisco tank lift and inverted bars, it would change the seating position dramatically.
For the price, I love it. For the look too, I love it. It would be a great second scoot or a great bike for the first time H-D buyer. You can do so much to sporty's and they are small enough to throw around a grind the pegs down.
Try to find an 09 new and I bet the price will be a little bit better.
