Bye Bye Buell and MV Augusta

Harley-Davidson to shut down Buell, MV Augusta Brands, finally -- DailyFinance

Didn't see if this was posted anywhere and well, crappy economy I'm not sure if anyone is looking for a bike BUTTTTT...You can probably find a good deal on an MV Augusta from Ducati Miami until they are sold off.

But I know for a fact you can pick up a good deal on the Buell's. I was at Peterson's H-D this past weekend and noticed a new 1125 CR, the Buell street-fighter type thing which i kind of dig but looks a little crazy, for CHEAP. $7400 cheap! BRAND NEW! Also, if you just want a scoot that is somewhat fun, they have the Lightning (can't remember s, scg,etc) for $4500 BRAND NEW! I was clueless and asked why and the guy told me H-D is shutting Buell down; not selling it off, not re-branding it under H-D...SHUTTING IT DOWN. They will continue to make parts for 7 years and service warranties for 7 years as mandated by the Feds but they are DONE. Kind of odd since not even a month ago there was such a stink about the 1125RR not being homulgated and Buell decided to sell one for ~$39K to appease the AMA.

Anywho...Get a new bike CHEAP! Hell, if I had the loot lying around, I'd pick one up for that price.

In all seriousness, I checked their website (Peterson HD) and they still have the stock prices on them.... I guess you gotta walk in to get the deals.

I wouldnt mind one of those if they dont sound like ass.

It sucks because they have Cagiva as well
From what i've read here, the prices of Buell and MV Agusta are NOT going to drop.
I hope Suzuki buys MV and Cagiva.
