Default Bike stolen.....and found

I'm currently rebuilding the Raptor and riding with my brothers XT 600.
This night i got back from a birthday party and parked and locked the bike in front of the house, where it always is.
Chatted with an awesome girl i met years ago and went to bed at 6 a.m., i looked outside and noticed the bike was gone!
Neighbours now know more curses then they did before.

Called the cops, gave them info about the bike. Need to go there and file something that it's stolen. I expected to find the bike online in parts like lots of stolen bike end up online in parts.
Someone actually found his bike that way (without frame) and even went there as a potential buyer.

This evening, the police called and said the XT has been found!
They were already investigating the fucker and went to his home.
I still have to file theft and call the detectives as it's their case.
But, here it comes, because of shitty laws here (if i caught the bitch and beat him up, it would be me who is going to jail), the fucker has to agree that it's our bike!
If he doesn't, we can go to court to proof it's our bike but until then, it's his!

Man, that sucks! Can't you just provide the title with VIN and match it with the bike? That should be proof enough that you own it. Or do you not have titles over there?

At least your popo found it. I called the cops while mine was being taken, 5 cars showed up within 1 minute, and they still couldn't find the guy.

lucky to be found but that's strange about getting it back. Maybe laws over there are different but usually here if you show registration or title you'll get it back on the spot after signing some paperwork

Indeed, law is strange over here.
Another thing is that detectives are investigating the case so stealing the bike isn't the only thing he did.
Couldn't file theft at the station today because the computernetwork has some big problem. Well, i'm glad the bike has been found so fast, that's the most important thing.
