Default New bike: Kawasaki Z1000

Bought the replacement for the Raptor (rip).
It's a 2004 Kawasaki Z1000 and it has been modded a bit already
K-tech front fork
Radial brakes
Wave discs front and rear.
Rear shock has been replaced, think it's a WP unit but haven't checked yet, lol.
R&G crash pads
White dialplate.
10 spoke O.Z. wheels.
Alarm
Original exhausts made shorter (nice sound now).
Not sure if i forgot anything....

It's different and i need to get to know this bike since i'm only used to v-twins.

Rear shock is from a GSXR K7 (also modified)
Went to an expert this afternoon so he could take a look at the front fork leak.
Going to fix that soon.

Current todo list:
Different mirrors
Black levers
Brighter turnsignals.

looks pretty good. Not sure about the black levers, I think the ones now mix in well with the exhaust being the same color

Very nice! Glad to see you back on the two's. The raptor will be missed indeed but I'm sure this bike will take care of that.

NICE! congrats.

European versions of the bikes we get here are always better looking. And they usually get a wider range of choices.

Anyone thinks Kawasaki's quality is slightly lower compared to other bikes? Rabbit_Racer General 2-wheel Discussion 23 June 4th, 2009 09:42 AM
