I saw a Ninja 250, older model in Orlando a few weeks ago. Sitting next to it at a light, and realized I didn't hear it running.. looked over, was full fairinged, with I believe 3 12 Volt car batteries, and this electric motor thingy with a clear outer cover on it mounted to the swing arm.. looked bad ass, and seemed to run just fine.. took me off guard though.

They're actually A LOT faster than the regular bikes. They have electric cars as well. The one electric car out at the moment is the Tesla Roadster. It actually goes from 0 to 60 in a matter of seconds. These cars and bikes are AWESOME and they have a lot more torque than regular cars, since it takes so much time for a regular car engine to build up torque.

it kinda takes the fun out of bikes... youll be riding nice and quiet.... I dont like that... I like to hear that motor combusting, smell the smoke, rev that shit up and whats not to love about filling it up for under $10.

Thats true but it's still AWESOME! But check out the video on youtube about the "white zombie". It's pretty awesome to read about and check stuff out like that
