Unhappy I dropped a 2009 hayabusa with 0 miles today

I think this is one of my life's biggest OOPS moments. At the dealership we get the bikes in crates and then we put them on the floor. A 2009 black hayabusa was ready to go in. The showroom floor is on an incline and the bikes need to run up to get em in. I was steering and one of the kids who works in service was pushing it. We reach the floor and right then i trip on a mat thats in front of the GM's office. Down she goes. I tried as hard as i could to keep her up but no luck. I was expecting to get fired at that point but my boss was very understanding so im still here although very embarassed

i could imagine, but if it's from a mat being there, it's not like you just dropped it from stupidity

I bought my R1 from Broward Motorsports, and it had a scratch on it; they discounted for it, but I imagine this happens often enough.

At my dealership, salesmen of a certain Italian division regularly scratch rims on the 8 and 12 cylinder vehicles (which cost as much or more than many homes). I'm shocked how bad some drivers are, and we have no curbs in the basement, so lot damage on cars is quite frequent (rims).

That same thing happend to me on one of the rides last year to Gilberts, at one of the gas stations. Everyone was leaving, and as I was putting on my helmet, I set my sunglasses on the tank. The bike moved a tiny bit, and the sunglasses began to slip off the tank; I grabbed them, and the bike began to lean..and Lean...aND LEAN, and then I'm beneath it.
lol

I picked it up REALLY quickly. And I'm not that strong.

Same thing happened in a race, I lowsided at Homestead on my Ducati. I picked that bike up so quickly and rejoined. Damn. Normally, you need two strong people to lift it! But adrenalin can kick like a mother.
