Should I do this?
Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge 2010
I'm definintely thinking about this. I want to do something bizarre. I want to do something wild. This is a year away....It is a $1000 investment so I am pretty sure I can swing it and pick up some sponsors as well. What are your opinions? The ultimate iron butt challenge? Or just some crackpot scheme to get $1,000 from motorcycle riders?

There's a $500,000 pot if you make it there first. I have thought about it...They limit the entrants to only 1000. EVERYONE must have to ride a Harley, so you KNOW some people won't finish and some people will break down and need some time.

Yea for sure if it involved the Discovery channel that wants it filmed count me in and WE can go into it together.

harleys only huh.
and it would be nice if the $1k buy-in included more than just a map and checkpoints. maybe a hotel or two stay and/or some other things. seems like something i would do if i had the time/money/and a harley. let us know what you decide.
