meanwhile the dogs that he made fight are still suffering their own form of prison. I'm going to keep my mouth shut on this one.

Not really....They are being rehabilitated and taken good care of...

What happened to Michael Vick's dogs... - SI.com - Magazine

As well, 22 of the furry critters are featured on a bottle of wine. The set costs around $700 and one bottle costs $40....Meanwhile, Vick made 15 cents a day in prison! Most of the dogs are out west on a ranch.

Before reinstatement, the league should require Vick to perform in a halftime steel cage match against a few pitbulls.

He's just a douche anyway....I don't think that they should reinstate him period. It would be bullshit if they did.

As a GA native I promise you mike vick fans are still big in number plus he did his time. A man was killed in miami by a football player and he got 30 days. What kind of society cares for dogs over humans. Roger godell will reinstate him and vick will either be a back up or play next season.

I know what they want us to believe and I've watched the specials and the shows on the dogs and where they are, etc. etc.

However, those dogs will never forget. They may be 'rehabbed' and all of that to make the public believe that they're fine and would never touch a tick. But I've seen firsthand what happens to those dogs. I spend my entire adolenscent and teenage years doing rescue work with the dade county ASPCA and humane society and I've seen shit that would make most stomachs turn, even my own several times.

We've been with the police after they'd broken up Pit Fighting rings and had to bring those dogs to our 40 acre ranch to house while the police and Humane Society tried to figure out what to do with them. 99% of the time, they were given a shot right on the spot and drifted off to the pit bull heaven in the sky. The only ones that they even looked at twice to try to save were the females who were used for breeding. And even those were so skiddish and terrified that it took miracles to work out their demons.

We ended up falling in love with one of the females and kept her ourselves for 8 years before she passed on to natural causes and she NEVER, may I repeat NEVER overcame her fear. Keep in mind, this was a female who never fought, but the people who handle these dogs don't do it for the love of animals, they don't care how they treat the dogs and they show them absolutely no affection. These females do not trust people and no matter how much work you do with them, there will ALWAYS be a part of them that never forgets. That is the prison they live in for the rest of their lives and never even had a choice or a chance to begin with.

While I don't agree with the ruling on the guy in Miami and the 30 day sentence, that is an entirely different issue. We're talking about animals who have no choice, they're being bread to kill each other or die trying. These are supposed to be our protectors, man's best friend, and I personally belive that celebrities have a special obligation to be role models and heros to our children. True, people make mistakes and they're only human. I can understand a speeding ticket on Santa Monica Blvd because someone just bought a new Ferrari with all the money my movie tickets earned them, but being involved in something as brutal and not to mention illigal as pit fighting is disturbing. The true question is what kind of society cares for a fucking touchdown over the life of any living creature, especially man's best friend?

Sorry if I'm a bit animated or passionate about this subject but I spent most of my early life cleaning up other peoples lack of give a shit and irresponsibilities with their animals and someone has to speak up for these dogs.

okay, I vented, I feel better now. Now let's all just shut the fuck up about Micheal Dick, er um Vick and drink some
