Has anyone watched/heard of this show?

So, I'm watching "Toddlers and Tiaras" on tlc... oh my god.

For those who don't know, the show gives you an inside look at children's beauty pageants. I'm completely disgusted. They show you these little girls at home, who look just like normal kids. Then they show you what their deranged "living through my child" mothers have done to them and they look creepy.
The whole thing is like a train wreck... you know how terrible it is, but you can't help but be transfixed by it. I mean, who in their right mind thinks that it is normal for a five year old to go spray tanning?



Then there is the makeup... these kids have so much foundation caked on they almost look one dimensional. Oh, and the flippers, I almost forgot about flippers. You know how kids loose their baby teeth? A completely natural part of being a little kid, but completely unacceptable in the pageant circuit, so parents buy falsies (known as flippers). They look ridiculous, and are so obviously fake. If I were to wake up with one of those little frankenchildren looking me in the face, I'd shit myself!!!

OMG. Let them be little girls. My son and first daughter both won beauty pageants, but that was before all that BS you are seeing now. NO WAY would I subject my kids to something like that. I thought she was a doll at first, not a child, did not even look real.

Yeah it's really sad. Most of the times the kids are saying that they don't want to do it, they just want to play with their friends or do normal kid things. It gets insane, I feel so bad for all those kids.
