So my kid is stuck to the XBOX360 like it is crack rocks! He has played most of the summer since there aren't really many kids around here his age (12). So this morning he gets the 3 rings of death! Well this is the SECOND time it has happened with our 360 and I am pissed. So I went to this little video game store close to the house and it looks like $150 for the fix. DAMN THAT. Microsoft fixed it last time under warranty but I don't want to go through the trouble of going through that again.

So...I did what any good computer nerd would do and went online to search on how to do it myself. I have to say, that is the gayest fix ever and easiest. Who knows how long it will last but WOW...For $10 it is fixed. He has been playing it for about an hour now online so I know the GPU and CPU are getting a workout and it is still alive and kicking.

I'm on my third XBox360. I know what a pain in the ass it is when you get the "red ring of death". I had gotten rid of my PS2 (big mistake), for this turd. If my current XBox takes another dump, I'm thinking PS3!
