Default LA Fitness membership. 19 bucks/month, No initiation fee + no contract

LA Fitness has been sending out random emails to former members asking them to come back for no initiation fee, No contract and only 19 bucks a month for ALL La fitness clubs in florida. All you will need to pay is first and last months dues (about 40 bucks to start).

In order for you to pull this off you will need to ask to speak to the manager and say you received such an email but unfortunately you DELETED it. If you sound confident and legit they will do it. I was NEVER a member there but got one at that rate this way. And no its not wrong or unethical to do that. They routinely charge people 200 dollars for initiation and 50 bucks a month to those dumb enough to be talked into it so dont feel too bad about pulling this on them. And like i said insist on getting that rate and that you accidentally deleted the email with that offer. The manager needs to sign you up though.

The problem is not the managers believing your acting plea, but them just not really paying attention to how the offer works. The highlighted text should be good enough to turn any non former member away who is trying to pull this type of shit off.

if the manager doesnt care to check if you were really a previous member, then yeah, it could be pulled off. At the end of the day though, $20 is better than nothing for the business, specially if they are having a hard time keeping members as it is. or it could be a whole marketing propaganda to get people to sign up for $20 a month......

who knows, who cares.... good luck to anyone who tries to pull this off.

For their clubs its a great deal because most people who work out there have paid at least 100 for start up and are usually paying around 40 a month for dues. I know a lot of people that pulled this primarily because they dont keep records of people who cancelled a long time ago.

Not that I care but how is this NOT unethical?!?! LOL.

I've been getting the e-mails since I cancelled to rejoin without fees and monthly dues for $29/mo. I've had to decline though because the gym near my house is $3 more per month and I don't have to compete with jerk offs treating the gym as a club and trying to find a date -- I can just go in and work out!

I think it's really unethical. It's ok if you can do this but for me it's not appropriate. You are an adventurer I won't do the same just because I read a lot about problems with payment LA Fitness @ Pissed Consumer. I don't want to have any difficulties aspesially when I like a lot visiting gym
