Default How did you meet your......

Bike?

Do you remember the feeling you had the first time your eyes saw the vision of beauty on two wheels that you now call your own?

What was it about her that made you pick her?

I got my 1000RR back in June 2005. I was planning to get a bike for years but never had the money to do so. when I moved to Florida, I was working for Dell and I made a promise to myself that if I was able to get promoted to manager then I would reward myself with the bike... so I busted my ass for a year to be promoted to manager of the store they had at the pembroke lakes mall and within a week I went a walked out with a 1000RR...

I never rode a sportbike in my life till I turned on my 1000RR and rode it home.... I did ride bikes with clutch when I was like 13, but never something this big. Im not ashame to say that it stalled twice before I got it home, but I made it without a scratch and owned the bike for 2 years before trading it in for necessity(my current truck).

I enjoyed every day I rode that bike. It was a great feeling and I cannot wait till I buy another one.

I also remember when I bought my fiddy... same year as the 1000.... went in, bought it, threw in the van, drove it home, rode it, almost ate shit, started messing with wheelies and the rest is history.

best toys Ive ever owned.

I had just bought my son a Honda CBR600 F3. I fell in love with that bike. First one I had ever purchased. We shared the bike for about a month until I met JBYRD. He and his friends were picking on it because it was old, carborated, and did not even sound like it was running when I was next to him. JBYRD's friend let me ride his GXR750 and boy could I see the difference. JBYRD then let me ride his HondaCBR1000 and I could see even more of a difference. He told me I looked good on his 1000, so the next day I went and bought one. JBYRD and I went to bike shops when we first met and looked at all the bikes, so I had an idea of what I liked.

They say I have a Wednesday bike and I got lucky. Thank God, since I went on my own to get it, and a lot of times the salesmen just walk all over females. I love my Honda.

got a 600 katana back in 99. my 1st bike and i didnt have much cash, so this is what the salesman rushed me into. i liked it, but hated how my friend made fun of me on his r6. funny thing is though, i could smoke him racing, switch bikes and do it again. i ended up eating shit about 2 years later and sold the bike.

i missed riding so much and decided to start saving for a new bike. well, took about 7 years lol, but i had enough to walk in and pay cash for my 08 750. i sat on every bike in the dealership and decided on the 750... it just felt right to me. no regrets on this one. i am having so much more fun on it this time around, and i plan on riding the rest of my life.

I wanted a starter bike and started doing some searches on them and found out that Kawasakis were better suited bikes for my needs .. And then came out the 2009 Kawasaki 250R ..what a beauty

Wanted something with more power and cumfy( I originally had a Ninja 650r) see below:

I went for a test ride at Triumph Palm Beach, and I was hooked on the Sprint ST.

2 months later George ( the owner of Triumph) emailed me a pic of a bike someone had put up for sale at his shop..Bought it on the spot... here is the first pic when I got her home!!

originally, my first purchase was an '07 GSXR 600. it was black and blue...best color scheme out there

then it was stolen, only had the bike for 3 months.

couldn't wait to get another. but this time, i had to get a 750. they didn't come in the same color as the 600, so i went with the traditional suzuki colors.

I started to get the "itch" for another bike almost a year after I sold my F3. So a shopping I went.
After looking at some used (& abused) bikes, the g/f (ex) said "just spend a little more and get what you want, NEW!" She was right, some of the time.
We went to some dealership that sounds like prick face honda and they were all about playing games.
We then jumped on the highway and ended up @ HondaWorld in miami. Walked in, saw 2 '06 left overs w/zero miles in blue & yellow. I ran over, licked it & said "this one is mine, 'cause I licked it!"
I discussed the price with the owner (yes, no sales people!). That conversation took all of 4 minutes & 12 seconds.
I was there the following saturday with the trailer!!!
