Shinkos for the street. Great for the money too because here in florida you are riding in a straight line for the most part so you need a good touring tire that gives you lots of miles at a cheap price. I buy em online and have gary of extreme custom sportbikes mount em. At $25 bucks which includes taking the old tire off you cant beat that.

I have Michelin Pilot Powers. I like them and they are FREE.

Jbyrd likes Dunlop. Tried Continentals and will never go back.

i have the michelin pilot road 2's. and i will recommend these tires to ANYONE. they are honestly the best tire for the street hands down.

when i bout this bike i moved to daytona and would do weekend trips back down here every other weekend. thats 240miles down, around 200 while im here and 240miles back. so i was doing roughly 700+miles in a weekend. after 2 months and going through 1 brand new michelin pilot power and 1 brand new michelin power 2ct i changed up. pilot powers are great tires but IMO dont hold up for all these straight roads we have down here.

i put the Mich pilot road 2's on my bike at 10200miles. I now have 20125 on the odometer. you cant even tell if the tread has been broken in yet on the front and rear tires.

got a deal at this website. $300.00 for the front and rear shipped to my door.

sorry for the rant but i am super impressed with these tires and will not be putting anything else on any of my street bikes. unless its going to the drag strip then itll get a shinko 003 Ultra U soft.

yea I'm looking into the Pilots too. Is it true that they have a hard middle and soft side so that you don't end up getting a flat spot from riding street alot?

out of the two i posted the Michelin Pilot Power 2CT is more common among street riders. And im guessing becuase the Mich Pilot Road 2CT is advertised as a "sport touring" tire, and not a "performance" tire.
